Branson, Mo. — June 25, 2026

In his final term as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skaggs Foundation, Randy Brashers is helping guide the organization through a period of growth and strategic advancement. Through his years of service, he has proven his commitment to focus on strengthening community health and maximizing the impact of every donor gift across Stone and Taney counties.

A graduate of Reeds Spring High School, Mr. Brashers has lived in the area for nearly 50 years, with family roots in the Branson area spanning generations.

Outside of his work with the Foundation, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, whether out on the lake or hosting gatherings at home.

Mr. Brashers joined Skaggs Foundation nine years ago after being encouraged by community leaders and following previous board service in the region. What began as a general awareness of the organization quickly grew into a deep commitment to its mission of improving local health and wellness.

In recent years, Skaggs Foundation has strengthened its investment strategy—positioning the organization to deliver a record grant award year at nearly 2 million and expanding its support for programs that directly benefit patients, students, and families in the community.

One of the areas that stood out most to Mr. Brashers in his leadership role is the level of care and attention that goes into each grant decision. He said Skaggs Foundation has made meaningful improvements to its grantmaking process, ensuring resources are directed where they can make the greatest difference for residents of Stone and Taney counties.

Looking ahead, he hopes to leave a legacy rooted in lasting impact—expanding access to care for families, creating more opportunities for students to pursue healthcare careers, and equipping local organizations to meet pressing community needs. He emphasized that each of these outcomes is made possible through the generosity and trust of donors.

He also highlighted the importance of stewardship, with a focus on honoring donor intent and ensuring every contribution is managed with care and accountability. “Most importantly, I’d want people to say we listened, collaborated, and made a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” he said.

For individuals who consider nonprofit board service, Mr. Brashers encourages choosing a mission they are passionate about and being prepared to actively contribute.

As Skaggs Foundation continues to grow, Mr. Brashers’ leadership reflects a commitment to thoughtful stewardship and a clear focus on turning donor generosity into measurable, meaningful impact for the community.
